TWO broken stovetops in less than a year

Have purchased TWO glass stovetops in the past year for over R7000 each and both have been cracked beyond repair. The first one had a small object dropped on it and smashed into pieces, the second developed a huge central crack for seemingly no reason. Warranty only covers electrical malfunctions. The glass is so thin it scratches if you put a pan on it. I would give this piece of garbage company 0 stars if I could for robbing me in broad daylight like this. Looking for a new stove? Save your money and peace and don't buy defy.
