The first stove that I got to know was the Defy firewood stove that my grandmother used to cook with. Till today I still miss those winter days and nights when we didn't need any heater to keep us warm. After my parents installed electricity they disposed of it and replaced it with an electric one. It's been more than thirty years since we've had it and have not experienced any problem, save for the replacement of plates.
