Stove 521 bad design flies can get into the stove

I have recently bought a new house and it was fitted with a defy 521 four plate stove, on numerous occasions I have left, left over food inside the stove just to discover the next day that flies have laid eggs on my food, after inspecting the door of the stove it is clear that the flies are able to get inside the stove when the door is closed.<br> <br> This is undoubtably a design flaw.
