Shoddy service from Defy continues!!

Part 2 of my sad story! The technician came advised that we needed a new timer for R1300 . We were not prepared to spend this on a stove that has already cost us too much for repairs so he bypassed the timer on the stove and turned the stove on and it worked. However, when I tried to cook with it, as soon as it got to 130C it tripped our earth leakage and now if you set the oven switch on fan, top or bottom element or even try to put on the light, it trips the earth leakage. I phoned the technician as repairs are guaranteed for 3 months and he said he will come when he is in the area. In the meantime,I have no oven!! We went and bought a Smeg today from The Gas Company in Centurion. Great service and I can't wait to have a stove that works!!
