Shockingly bad after sales service.

Ridiculously bad after sales service. I have a Defy Gas stove DGS179 that I need a thermocouple for. Contacted Bellville Defy branch, explained which plate it is for, was told they have to order stock. Was advised by them a few days later to collect. Sent a driver to pick it up and when I tried to fit the part, realized its too short. Decided to keep it as a spare for the front plate and order the longer one. Called Bellville again and explained the issue, they ordered again and a few days later advised the part is there. Sent a driver and when I received the part, again it was the short one. Called them back and explained that they sent the wrong part again, sent my driver back again to pick up the correct part and was contacted by Bellville branch where they argued with me that it is the correct part. I told them to take a ruler and measure it as there is a big difference between 350mm and 520mm. Bellville branch said that unfortunately they cant help me as they keep on receiving the wrong part from Montague Gardens branch. To get hold of Montague branch is almost impossible. The number displayed online gets picked up by automated switchboard, and you get put on hold indefinitely. Phoned Defy branch in Parklands. They don't stock gas parts, and the person told me there that I will have better luck driving to Montague Gardens branch than phoning them as they never pick up. Eventually sent a mail to *** and after a few days received a reply. Montague gardens branch then took 2 days to send me a mail saying they have two in stock. I emailed them back asking if I can send my driver to pick up the part and no reply. My driver went there the next day and was told I have to order the part first????? So mailed them again for order and Banking details. Paid them, sent proof of payment and asked when I can pick up. No response. My driver went there the next day and was told that they told me 48 hours. To date I never received that communication. Mailed them again asking when I can pick up, told can pick up 20/08/2026. Sent my driver again, mind you every trip is +-80km there and back, and came back with the part. Invoice is correct, Open the package and the part is an IGNITOR in the thermocouple package. Contacted them again and complained in writing that this is ridiculous. I have spent more than R1000 in Diesel alone on a part that costs less than R40. Was contacted back with apologies and that they will deliver the part to me this week. That was 21/08. Its now 27/08 and nothing. Its absolutely shocking service. More than a month to get a simple part that's manufactured here. So sorry that I spent R9k on a new Defy Drier two months ago. The appliances are great but come on!
