Shameless defy appliances:

I bought a set of stove hob, oven and cooker hood and some months later, the hob malfunctioned and we could not cook in the homestead. A technician came and found ONE DEAD ****roach and I was told: your warranty is now null and void!! I even bought an extended warranty when buying but defy(small letters to show contempt and disgust to this little company) came up with this stupid thing of ****roaches with no shame ! The evidence that is there shows ONE DEAD, but even two dead ****roaches, does NOT constitute the 'infestation' they have been hiding behind .Their well-conceived scheme from the top managers of this little company to rob South Africans, must end . They then said I must pay! Seeing that this is going to take time as it is clearly hatched from the top managers, I decided to pay the over R1 600 as I could see that I must never argue with fools this time, just so that this crucial home appliance can be repaired. I then later planned to claim and demand that they pay back this money. They have been refusing and I call upon ALL South Africans to STOP buying defy appliances and go for other good appliance brands and stay away from defy.

I argued that we have been having appliances with microchips for decades that still work e.g: Telefunken, Pioneer and such other .If their Electronics engineers have designed chips that can be defeated by ****roaches, let alone dead ones, then this is not our problem as consumers .

We must NOT as South Africans, tolerate and support any company that will disrespect and rob us in broad day-light.
