Reflect washing machine sold to me as a quality product

I bought a Defy washing machine from Makro. The very first time I used, the washer was filling nonstop. Since I was using it for the first time, I thought that is how it is supposed to be. The water then started draining on the floor. I had to put towels on the floor to absorb water while busy drying with the mop, after which I had to handwash my laundry because the technicians do not work over the weekend. The technician came on Tuesday. After repairing I asked him what the problem was, which he said there was a rubber that was loosely fitted. With the understanding that the product goes through quality check before being released to the client, in short I can say I was sold a reject Defy product presented to me as quality product. I called them to inform them of my dissatisfaction and was told to write an email. Up to today, nobody bothered to respond.

Thank you Hello Peter for being the voice to those whose voice fall on deaf ears. Defy did come back to me, they came with many excuses though saying the Technician's report states that it was a faulty installation from my side. The strange part was being asked the name of the Technician which I assume should have been written in the report. When I ask them 1) why did the technician open the machine because you do not have to open it during installation, 2) why did he say it is a loosely fitted rubber to me not pipes (they asked me for the loosely fitted rubber pictures and I did not take them) and 3) was it a slip of a tongue when the Technician said it was probably made on a Friday when everybody was rushing home. The blame then shifted to pipes possibly getting loose during transportation. Yoh, what a blame game.....unbelievable.
