Quantity over quality clearly for Defy.
Do not waste your hard earned money buying a defy appliance. I have had an issue with a 18 month old washing machine for 3 MONTHS NOW!
I have seen 2 different technicians over 4 different times and they're now wanting to send someone else out! There are also 13 emails between myself and defy, 5 between timberstar(?) and myself but I am yet to have a machine which isn't leaking and damaging my cupboards and doors and probably rotting the appliance too!
30 June - Complaint sent to Defy regarding the leaking 1 July - Service logged by Defy 5 July - Still waiting for a technician to arrive?? 11 July - Technician #1 came 13 July - First use of the machine since technician came out - turned down the tap pressure - diluted my #omoliquid by half - machine still leaking 19 July - Technician #1 came 24 July - Technician #1 came out 25 July - Email sent containing the following The technician came out again (with not much service much to be desired) and the machine is STILL doing the same thing. I put on a load of sheets and it’s still leaking. This is now causing damage to my door as the water runs in that direction.
To date I have;
- diluted the Omo 50% water, 50% Omo liquid - cleaned the filters - cleaned the drum - degreased - turned the tap down - lifted the measuring gauge in the tray - used quick washes, and cotton washes when needed 10 August - Technician #2 came 14 August - Call from someone at #Timberstar saying that the issue has been escalated. Asks for all information. Sent. 19 August - Email to follow up - no reply from Pariksha from Timberstar 26 August - same as above 28 August - Call from technician #3 to come
Defy, you are wasting your technicians time and petrol. This is absolutely ridiculous. Every technician that comes out has no idea about the previous one and what was done so it all just repeats in a vicious circle.
When is this going to be resolved? I want a refund for a product 18 months old that's faulty due to your belief that pushing out as many machines as possible is better than giving your customers quality products.
