Probably best not to rely on Defy.

If I could have given a no-star review for Defy Appliances, I would have.

This is my story. My wife and I ordered a Defy DHC617 fridge from Teljoy. The fridge arrived on Friday 30 November. It was a new fridge, still in it's packaging which was unpacked onsite. I was told to leave the fridge off for two hours before switching on, which I did.

We noticed on Friday night that the fridge was still room temperature inside and our food was starting to go off...

I would normally have just written this off to bad luck, if not for the fact that in March 2017 we ordered a Defy DHC517 from Teljoy and that also came in factory packaging and also remained at room temperature once unpacked and also needed to be sent back to Teljoy.

The same problem experienced by the same people from the same manufacturer, a year and nine months later?

I am not convinced of Defy's quality check and controls...
