Poor customer service
After repairing freezer element twice and Defy insisting its not their parts. I requested Defy to fix. Their service guy before even pitching up wanted payment upfront via some electronic instant payment system. I refused and he failed to appear.
Again requested service. Defy service guy comes out and we fail to hear anything after he checked fridge freezer.
Follow up he offers to come on a Sunday and wants call out fee and R300 for freezer element. When I advised the freezer element is less than R200 ... guess what he disappears.
I call service line ... tell me I must contact Lucas to report issue. After 3 attempts I still cannot get hold of Lucas.
Be warned Defy produces poor quality, and worse, provides useless after sales customer service.
Wanted to charge but waived fee after I protested numerously.
But 5 stars for doing the right thing.
