Poor Customer Service

I bought a Defy fridge at JetMart on the 5 April 2017 and it just stopped cooling over the weekend of the 18 June 2017 so it is about 2 months old. They had a technician come through (20 June 2017) to check it out and he said it has a leak and needs to be returned to their workshop. Their workshop in Cape Town informed me they will collect the fridge and send me a loan fridge while they sort mine out. They also told me someone would phone me to arrange the collection. I waited the whole day yesterday (22 June 2017) and never received any communication from Defy. It is the 25th and my neighbours will need their fridge/ freezer space I have used for my food and therefore need the loan fridge asap. I have phoned the office to try to get through to the regional manager but I cannot get through as I am placed on hold. Why must customers always go the Consumer Protection route for service providers to do their job. The fridge is clearly faulty to be leaking after only two months and they should either fix it so this does not happen again or replace it as the technician suggested. If I do not receive feedback by the end of this day I am lodging a formal complaint with the Consumer Protector, this is so unnecessary.
