Pathetic service from DEFY!

Bought a Defy stove in April 2022 @ Makro, Feb 2025 it started giving me issues which I reported to Makro, and a call was logged for Defy to come and fix on the 07/02/2025. Defy only pitched on the 14/02/2025 2weeks later after endless calls to them to no avail way after their turnaround time and couldn't be bothered that i couldn't cook for so long. Defy Technician fixed and advised me that the stove is now good as new but if I have any issues, I should call him. Little did I know that was a lie! 13/03/2025 in hardly a month the stove stopped working, called the Defy technician only for him to tell me that I should log a whole new call with Makro again so that he can get paid for the job, like really? A job that he did that didn’t even last a month now he can’t even come to fix where he went wrong no! Called Defy store , all calls are not being picked up, sent a watsapp on their number which was read and ignored! I feel like they are just delaying because the warranty expires in April. I want a new stove installed because I cannot be going through such pathetic service with Defy. I have no option but to make them trend on socials to see what other customers feel should this be not attended to ASAP! I have had it with DEFY and their pathetic service shame! i am currently sitting with a stove that isnt working with no idea when it will ever be fixed bearing in mind that warranty expires in April.

Good day Yanga,
We truly apologise for the inconvenience caused especially the technician's behaviour.
We have provided the national call centre number that is used for direct assistance with any issues related to your unit, as there are no Defy stores.
The issue has been escalated, and a new service call will be logged for repair.

Warm Regards,

Customer Care Team
