Overall Poor Build Quality

I must admit I have lost trust in Defy's quality. Based in Munster KZN.

Our experience over the past year.

Our latest purchase of a large Defy side-by-side Fridge/Freezer required x3 callouts due to the compressor rattling. At each of the callouts I asked the technician to get us a quote on our Defy Frontloader washing machine to have the front panel replaced (Not once provided a quote). Expensive great quality machine, but due to a design flaw that causes the soap dispenser to leak onto the front panel from the inside, the whole thing started rusting on the inside. Defy just folded their arms and took no ownership of the issue... so now we sit with an expensive washing machine that is rusting away.

and this week our Defy Chest Freezer stopped freezing. must be just over 2 years old and in excellent condition. Pressure test confirms gas is leaking inside the freezer which cannot be fixed. Poor build quality it seems as it's a common issue with Defy.

actually shocking that this is what we've come to now expect of Defy products :-( really sad.
