Never buy Defy

Having purchased 6 defy appliances still under guarantee, 3 are troublesome within a few months after purchase. With space being restricted I will give only 1 example. Our new upmarket refrigerator (Model F790) stopped making ice after a few months. After numerous phone calls the technician (Percy) arrived on the 4th February and stripped the complete ice-making system. He showed me the broken major part and promised to have it replaced the next day. After numerous phone calls and references he has still not arrived by the 18th of February. We are now sitting with no ice making facility and parts strewn over our kitchen counter. We'll later report other problems related to our new tumble dryer and split aircon . (******* products and unacceptable service!)
