Never buy a Defy DBO468 nor anything branded Defy

I bought my defy Gemini double oven7 from Hirsh on the 30 Jan 2019. Then i lodged a complaint in August 2020 advising Hirsh and Defy that the inner glass(of the top oven door) exploded whilst roasting meat. That query took forever. Despite my explanations of the trauma and damage caused by the incident. I then escalated again job number *** demanding my money back (as i no longer have confidence in their device) or a new oven. 4th of September 2020. Nothing happened, in the mean time there is glass everywhere in the oven, as dangerous as it was they ignored. Eventually some manager called and still she did not resolve the matter despite promises. My consultant from Hirsh tried to push for a technician to come out and eventually someone came. 29 -09-20 BUT he did not take the oven nor clean their glass nor replace the inner glass. I told him i wanted my money or new oven. Still nothing happned. Only last week of November did a technician come back and replace the glass. Now yesterday 27-12-20 the same inner glass of the top oven door exploded whilst roasting the meat again. Honestly why would a glass oven built that way explode when you use it. My kids are so traumatized from this event and glass went all over the floor whilst they were in that kitchen. This is life threatening and Defy give me a deaf ear when their device is not safe to use in a house hold? I want the money back that i used to buy the oven. 10800rand plus compensation for all the challenges am facing now due to the trauma and inconveniences caused by all these incidences. I have videos of all these events and will make it go viral on social media. Defy products are unreliable and dangerous.
