LACK OF SERVICE DELIVERY
I bought a Defy 15kg Twin Tub from Game Stores online shopping on the 20th March 2020 and I received the washing machine on the 21st March 2020 however when I opened the box and did my laundry for the first time the item was leaking water profusely. I immediately called the Defy Customer Care and spoke to Jefferson who arranged that a technician come out. I am not sure what the technician did as when my sons tried to use the washing machine again, it was still leaking and I phoned Defy again. I saw that the wash tub had a huge tear in it and I assumed that this could have been the reason why the water was gushing out. How this was not noticed by the technician, shocks me as the tear is very visible. I spoke to Salome dd.26th March 2020 time:-3.12pm who advised due to the Level 5 Lockdown, she was unable to say when the technician will be able to come out and rectify the problem. It is the 6th May 2020 and we are now on level 4 Lockdown yet, no techinician...Clearly this is a manufacturing problem and I am not sure why I had to pay R3000 for a washing machine delivered to me faulty. I am appalled by the lack of service delivery from Defy and even more so from Game as they also not wanting to accept the responsibility of the item which was clearly a product of BAD MANUFACTURING. I am disgusted and as a Cash-paying consumer to be treated in this way.
