Ignored. Frustrated. Musical fridge.
Bought a fridge/freezer combo from Makro. Bought Defy as opposed to the other slightly cheaper brands for quality. Big mistake. Terrible noise from day 1, deapite leaving it upright for days to setle the gases. Contacted the service centre. Eventually a technician just arrived with no planning or arrangement. He secured a pipe ay the back and this was his great fix, he left. The noise continued and if anything is worse. I have a constant loud burbling and gargling soundtrack in my house. Now im just being completely ignored by Defy.

25 Oct 2019, 12:55To update, positive ending. Chris and Vanessa worked towards replacing the unit, and this was a good solution. They turned a bad situation around, and thats all they can do, I will be weary of purchasing a Defy fridge in the future, but in this instance, the after sales service caught up and resolved the issue. Thank you.
