I do not get any response from my emails sent to Defy: '***' I have purchased the _Defy DCB896E Oven and Hob Box Set Bundle (DBO489E & DHD406A)_ on Takealot in June 2026. I had just installed the unit, and the Hob gives an error when powering on. The right bottom plate has a flashing H when switching on. The plate is NOT hot, but this plate keeps flashing. The other plates operate normal. I have also noticed that the user manual is not for this specific model. The control panel layout is not the same between the unit and the manual. On the Takealot website it states that they do not accept returns and I must contact the manufacturer directly. I am residing in Kamieskroon, Northern Cape. I am only contactable on WhatsApp and via email. I live in the mountain and there is no mobile reception. Please let me know how this can be sorted out.
