Faulty washing machine causes damages to floors

I bought a new washing machine from House and Home N1 City (Defy washing machine) in April 2023. Last week when I wanted to do washing my laundry was completely flooded (I have wooden floors in my laundry) and the washing machine made a knocking sound. I turned everything off and used my older washing machine to do my washing. Monday this week when I went into the laundry again the newer washing machine was still leaking water causing more damages to the floors. The technician that was here tried to spin me a story telling me the parts at the bottom of the washing machine broke because the unit was standing on wooden floors and not concrete.. I mean what bull is that!! Right so then we plugged out the new unit and tried to use our older machine and with all the water damages the new unit caused the old unit is also not working. My floors are completely ruined (the wood popped and starting to lift!). Defy now said that they will replace the new unit. I asked them who is fixing my floors as its their fault that the unit was faulty and now nobody is getting back to me! I am so upset as this will cost alot off money to fix that floors
