Ex Defy supporter

After many years of Defy appliances my fridge gave up the ghost. I decided to purchase another Defy product as my history was good. well how wrong I was! I purchased a unit from a local supplier and when I plugged in and turned on! The fridge spluttered and began making an awful noise. I thought that perhaps this was just the first run and that as soon as it got cold the noise would stop. <br> It Didn't and by the next day I was not a happy consumer, I called the supplier who told me that I needed to contact Defy, who would send an agent out to check the fridge, this was because the fridge was working, even though it was making a crazy noise. I called and was told that an assessor would come to evaluate the fridge. I unfortunately could not be home for the assessment but a friend who received the unit stood in for me. The assessor confirmed that the unit was excessively noisy and that he would get back to me! That was a year ago! <br> Now my bad, I did not chase up but after being diagnosed with acute sleep apnea I eventually found that the fridge is the cause of my sleepless nights. I am giving this fridge away and I will never purchase defy again!!!!!
