Dont Rely on Defy

<p>I bought a defy microwave from Game somerset west last year january and had it in storage up untill April this year after moving into my house. The microwave worked great from april up untill last month when it suddenly started to spark like it was ready to explode. It was crazy-this from very light and minimal usage. I immediately shut it off and would have taken it back to Game but I no longer have proof of purchase or the box as i bought it cash so took it to Defy head office at montague to see if they can pick up the so called 2 year guarantee. They are the manufactures afterall and the device serial should reveal this info. Unfortunately they were not willing to assist a customer with fixing their defective product because i threw my slip away...this day and age. This is pathethic! Then the audacity to charge me R200 just for assessing the device!!! Will never ever buy another Defy Appliance!!! would not even recomend, infact will discourage anyone from buying defy</p>
