Do not buy Defy

I have purchased a solid plate Defy Hob from Makro in Ottery July 2020, Not a year after i purchased the said product all my plates started rusting. It is so bad that the rust is flaking off. I reported this last year to Defy, and their response, "Please advise the customer that his hob is 15 months old and rusted plates are not covered under warranty as per his user manual." Gone is the quality you would expect from DEFY. Absolutely **** products, you would expect these appliances to last a very long time. This is not the first time I have heard of how ****ty their products are made. Ovens which are rusting as per one of my colleagues. I will never ever buy anything Branded Defy and I encourage others to do the same. Good money paid for ****!! So frustrating when the after sales service has gone down the toilet.
