Do NOT buy Defy

Every Defy appliance I have bought has been a problem. Whatever it was, it stopped working within a week and Defy after sales service does not exist. It is quicker and easier to throw the appliance out! Alas, my kitchen in Jhb was designed for double door Defy ovens and counter top plates. They stopped working within 2 weeks. Now I am on the South Coast and replaced my oven, counter top plates and 400 litre fridge/freezer with Defy at the recommendation of Margate Furnishers . When I said \NOT Defy!""; 2 fridges; a chest freezer; a microwave. a tumble drier;etc. I can't even remember how many Defy appliances I have thrown out within 6 months. . """
