DISGUSTED BY DEFY

I write to share my utter disgust at the level of service I got from DEFY, for close to ONE FULL YEAR now.... I am a home owner with a family of four in our household. In November 2015, we reported our fridge as damaged to the dealer, Game in N1 City Cape Town. They proceeded in checking my purchase documents and confirmed that my fridge was in fact still under warranty, due to an EXTENDED WARRANTY i purchased along with the fridge in 2011. The Game Stores Department sent a technician (Joseph) to my premises to assess the damage on the fridge which he confirmed had been due to apparent wear of the product. He advised that he couldn't replace the parts, but had to have the DOORS of the fridge REPLACED. He left and returned later in December 2015, with two doors. One of these replacement doors were DAMAGED and the other was a DIFFERENT COLOUR to my fridge, and of course I refused that he replaced them. He advised then that he will have to refer the matter (presumably to DEFY) and then get back to me in the new year. He then arrived in January to collect the two doors that he had left with me, not affixed. Days, then weeks and then two months later passed, when in March 2016 my fridge was collected from my house to be "repaired and doors replaced at the DEFY factory". I was then advised that the warehouse contact person is Fahiem, on *** and the reference number issued to me was 457099. A loan unit was issued to me at the time. FIVE WEEKS later, my fridge gets returned to me, WITH NO REPAIRS DONE, NO DOORS REPLACED, AND IN FACT SOME NEW SCRATCHES, DENTS AND DAMAGE that was not there before!!!! And as bonus, i presume, a few roaches in the fridge too!! Paul Lewis, Department Manager of Game advised me that according to Defy, the initial damage was caused by ****roaches at my house, and therefore they, (Defy) cannot fix my fridge!!!!! The contact person at Defy was Olivia Hartnick who now claims my repairs needed does not fall within the warranty I purchased. I urgently need this matter addressed and my fridge fixed!
