Disappointed customer
I bought a double door fridge in December 2016 from Joshua Door Phoenix Plaza now its called Bradlows for R13 000. In April 2017 it started to make a strange noise and I reported that to the store. A Defy Technician was sent to my house to fix that noise and he apologised on behalf of Defy for the inconvinience. After it was fixed the Fridge worked 7 months then it broke again same problem it had before. I reported it second time now within a year. This time the store promised that they will exchange it but they asked to please fix it so we can use it in the time being because they said they did not have it on stock. It was fixed but the fridge was never exchanged. Now it broke again and when I went to Bradlows Phoenix Plaza they said I must phone Defy and report the problem myself. Its been a week now. We phoned Defy and a Technician was sent but he couldnt do a thing. He said he was going to tell the Defy Manager that the Fridge needs to be exchanged they were going to phone us. But until today they never phone and instead they are not answering our calls. What an inconvinience, food was spoilt and we have to ask neighbours to keep the meat for us. Its very sad and very disappointing. Bradlows Phoenix Plaza and Defy this is not the way you treat your customers. Well it didnt end there. Today, both Bradlaws and Defy staff phoned. First call was from Bradlaws - Phoenix Plaza Manager by the name of Lance and was very rude and arrogant saying that this issue has nothing to do with Bradlaws, saying that we bought the fridge from Joshua Door, not from Bradlaws. Funny thou because when Joshua Door changed to Bradlaws all customer informations were transfered to Bradlaws and they did not say we must go and pay instalments at Joshua Door, but now when we experiencing issues, hes been very rude, its really an insult. Shocking customer service from someone who is a Manager. Second call was from Deft a guy by the name of Ishmael said that, from the very beginning when the fridge broke Bradlaws should have gave us the option to either fix the fridge or exchange and get the new fridge. Ishmael said they have nothing to do with this issue that we have been experiencing. He also said that it was the first time they received the complain about the fridge. There have nothing to do with the matter. We were left bitter and very dissappointed about their behaviour. Now we are left with a broken double door Defy Fridge that we paid R13 000 and its was paid up last year. We demand action to be taken about this whole issue. Both Bradlaws and Defy has left us in MISERY.
