Defy washing machine.

I have had my defy washing machine for 2 and a half years. Now major problems. Part alone costs R1 200. excluding courier and labour cost. CANNOT contact defy. Mr Ronald Claasen to call back. Still waiting. E mails won't get through. Must be blocked. I want to know is this what I can expect as the life expectancy of a defy appliance?
