Defy Tumble dryer not even 2months and blown.

Im not happy, im utterly disgusted in Defy. I bought a tumble dryer from Builders Warehouse in George, as Knysna where I reside had NO stock (60km away from me). The Grey DTD230 on 23/05/2021 thats less tham TWO months ago. I also own a Whirlpool that i use daily with no problems for years. This Defy I bought just to dry very light items. This is exactly the 5th time i used it tonight and 5mins into the cycle it tripped the mains and power circut. Right after that it refuses to start any cycle. I tried everything, from different plugs to switching it on and off. The power button is also very flimsy from the day i used it for the first time, it tends to get stuck. I own a very complicated condenser dryer and i can assure you this Defy Unit is 100% dud. Its not working at all, all the lights come on as per usual but it does not start up. I am very upset about this as i was expecting a defy tumble dryer of R4k to last many years into the future. Not merely 50days. This product is basically brand new. I have logged a request on your website with *********, I would appreciate it if you can arrange a refund for me at the Builders Knysna Branch as Builders George is 60km away from me. I have uploaded all proof of purchase documents and serial number on the online request ticket and would prefer to NOT have this unit repaired. I have now lost my faith in this basically brand new dryer. Kindly advise steps ahead. Thank you, Shaun
