Defy top loader washing machine problems
I had to replace the PC board on my three year-old 8 kg Defy top loader in February 2018 at a cost of R1 070. This new PC board is now acting up and will have to be replaced again at R1 500. So I have to spend half the cost of the machine on a new PC board every 2-3 years. This is not acceptable.
I took the matter up with Defy. At first they shirked responsibility due to the fact that I installed the PCB myself. When I pointed out that they had no problem selling the unit to me unconditionally and that it simply plugs in, they are now ignoring me.
I warned them that will be publishing the facts far and wide if they do not come up with an acceptable solution and suggested that such a solution would be to supply a new PCB at no cost.
They prefer to continue to ignore me.
