Defy support - Richards Bay

I have purchased a Defy Ceran Hob from what I deemed a highly reputable dealer, i.e. Hirsch Appliances in La Lucia. A plate stopped working under the guarantee period and was reported to the seller. Sadly the matter is attended to by Defy, who delegated one of their agents some 4 days later. The agent duly makes app for 10:30 and arrives at 15:30. Then says he does not have the required part which will come in 5-10 days. After complaining to Hirsch they intervened and got Defy to send agent 3 days later. Guess what different agent different diagnosis, no part and me the fool keeps waiting. Moral of the story if you live outside the major Cities like me in Richards Bay think twice before buying Defy as their technical support here is pathetic.
