Defy Steamcure washing machine damaged R2000 down jacket!!!
I bought a Defy Steamcure 8kg frontloader. BEFORE adding my down jackets to this machine. I first looked at videos on Defy's website and accoring to this information Steamcure only "washes" with steam. This machine damaged a R2000 down jacket as the drum was filled with water on the Down setting. I have tried to make contact with Defy but their staff is rude and don't want to assist me. STAY AWAY.

Please note steam is introduced at the start and end of a wash cycle on our Steam Cure Washing Machines. The machine uses water in-between wash cycles, and does not operate exclusively on steam, even on the Down Wear program.
Please see below for description from the manual of the Down Wear program:
Down Wear"Use this programme to wash your coats, vest, jackets etc. containing feathers with a "machine-washable" label on them. Thanks to special spinning profiles, it is ensured that the water reaches the air gaps amongst the feathers."
Please advise if we can arrange a call with one of our Product Experts to walk you through the programmes on the machine?

I've been trying to call... sent emails. Why does it take a reviews to get a response?
I have looked through the manual and this is not on here.
I went on your website and there is a video where the lady states it's washed with steam. Tried to confirm but no response.
