Defy Slimline Stove

We bought a Defy slim line in January 2022 from Makro Bloemfontein and started using the stove around mid-February. It worked well for only 2 to 3 weeks, after which we could only use one plate at a time. Whenever we put two or more plates simultaneously on, it would show an error message and automatically switch itself off. While using one plate one night it just burst and cracked all over.

We reported the issue to Makro who then forwarded it to Defy. They simply said warranty does not cover it if it is cracked.
