Defy Service

I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from Defy after purchasing a washing machine from Takealot and logging a call.

It has been a month since my first call to Defy and up to this date the problem has not been resolved.

I logged a call on 9/04/2024 where I was told a technician will phone me to come and take a look at our machine within 3 days. (Ticket Number: ***). After 7 days, I phoned again on 16/04/2024. The lady who helped me told me according to her record the technicians were supposed to visit us the previous date. After informing her that we have been waiting since, she placed a follow up email. After 9 days, still no communication from Defy. On 25/04/2024 I phoned again. This time I was told to phone *** as he is the service manager in Polokwane. I tried phoning multiple times where the front desk will put me through, I will wait on the line until the call drops. I left *** a message and asked him to phone me back. (I'm still waiting). On 29/04/2024 I was told to speak to ***, another dead-end with no answers.

On 07/05/2024 I phoned the service desk again, I was told the technicians will come out that same day, NOTHING!

I'm so unhappy with Defy's service. In my life I have not encountered service as bad as this. Tomorrow it will be 1 whole month since my first call. What is the use of a warranty if the after sale service is non existent?

My washing machine is brand new and I can understand that the factory faults my slip in, but this is unacceptable.

I don't know who to speak to as I cannot get hold of anyone.
