Defy ******* products and poor after sales service

I purchased the 7kg frontloader in July 2019. I was not informed at the time by the supplier that it only has one cycle for 7kg of washing which is the longest cycle at over 1 hour on fast speed. All other cycles can only take 3 or 3.5kg. My machine does not spin out all the water properly at the highest rpm of 1200. 2 technicians have been and without inspecting the machine physically informed me that I used too much washing powder and it caused a soap build up on the drum which has stopped the spin from working effectively. Firstly how can a family of 5 do 3kg of washing at a time? Secondly I was advised to run the machine at its hottest empty repeatedly to remove any soap build up. I have done this to no avail except wasted electricity and water. I cannot get through to their call centre. I've called their office in Cape Town for the third time and am waiting for a call from their service manager. I want my machine fixed or my money back. It does not meet my needs nor does it work properly. I'm fed up and frustrated and wasting my electricity and water. I will never recommend or buy any Defy appliance again.
