Defy reliability - non existent.

A months after the 2 year guarantee expired on my R12 000 double door fridge freezer, the thing packed up. I was told that Defy appliances carries a 5 year guarantee but it was not applicable in 2016 when I bought my fridge. Only 2 years???? I have had fridges at a quarter of the price that lasted 10 and more years. This will certainly be the last time I purchase a defy (any Defy) appliance.
