Defy Poor Service
I have a Defy DLT149 13KG washing machine for about 3 years now, the water inlet valve is blocked or damaged. I called an agent of Defy, the company is Timber Star Trading to have a technician come to repair it. They walked in and told me that the valve was damaged which I already knew, left after 2 minutes without repairing anything costing me R 450.00. I decided to call Defy directly to complain about the service I received and was told to call Defy Services Centre to book another techincian. The services centre tells me to call the same company for a techinician after I coplained about the company. I will not buy Defy again as every product in my home is Defy, they just lost 1 customer.

Just thought I write an update regarding Defy.
Defy contacted me and sorted my Defy Top loader. They did not send any agents or affiliate companies. I think the problem for Defy is they do not deal with the public directly anymore and as such are now putting Defy's reputation on the line. The services from the Defy technician was first class so why do we have to go through some contact centre or affiliate company? When we bought our Defy appliances they said if you have any issues Defy is just down the road from my home, they don't tell you about third party companies that in my humble opinion do not have Defy's best interest at heart. Thank you Defy for the excellent service directly from Defy, Please rethink your strategy on using third-party companies for service support.
