Defy knowingly putting substandard products on the shelf

We bought a defy convection microwave from Makro. Brought it home. Assembled it as per the manual. The manual tells you to put the wheel circle in the microwave. Put glass plate on top. Glass platebdoes not fit, it is wobbly and one side uplifted. Take glass plate out and put steel plate for convection in. This is also not very stable but improvement to glass plate. None of the plates turn. Use it. Phone Makro to inform them of challenge. The feedback is that Defy is aware of this issue but they do not want to fix it. Phone Defy on 3 May 2018. 20 minutes later and having spoken to 4 people they tell me technician will be in contact. 7 May 2018 my husband follows up with Defy, they have no record of my call and tell him we need to take to take microwave back to Makro. Technician can only view it there. 12 May husband takes microwave back to Makro, they tell him Defy denies there is anything wrong with their product and technician will not be coming out.

Thus is unacceptable. My step mom bought a Defy microwave for my gran and had to take it back with the same problem. The shop she bought hers from exchanged the circular wheel device.
