Defy is not a trusted brand

My name is Avin an recently moved on my own a month ago this was my first time on my so I wanted everything in my new home of quality so naturally I choose all defy products ranging from stove,fridge,washing machine and microwave as at my parents we used defy alliances,today the 25Jan23 I was so disappointed when my microwave front glass fell off an hit the floor chipping it on the corner luckily my leg wasn’t badly hurt while I was opening it please advise me on the way forward as I have all defy appliances and I’m worried about the rest off my appliances.Even once you look at the two sided tape used to hold the glass in place looks crumbled . I took the microwave to Makro where I purchased it and was told they have a policy in place that the broken item needs to be sent to the supplier for assessment and repairs and it can take up to 14 days I then asked the store to contact the manufacturer as I am dependent on the microwave and was spoken to by a agent by the name of Amy was of lil or no help ,I then asked to speak to her manager to for them to acknowledge my email to them them the previous day of which he did acknowledge and only then rep**** to my email he also assured me telephonically that he would try resolve the matter in 4 days and yet it’s been 2 weeks for a item I’m dependent on.
