Defy Gemini Oven - Faulty element

The element in my Gemini Petit Chef keeps on tripping my electricity. Replacing the element by the Defy service agents seems to fix the problem. This is now the 3rd element in the space of 30 months. I never had to replace any elements in my previous Gemini oven, which I had for 14 years plus. There is clearly a design flaw with the particular model of oven. Unfortunately Defy only offers a 3 month warranty of a replaced part and purchasing this oven is turning out to be a very expensive exercise. I am extremely disappointed in this Defy product.
