Defy Fridge Freezer quality

I purchased 2 defy fridge freezers yesterday from Hersch's in Fourways. The service from Hersch's has been outstanding and I have no complaints there. My complaint is with the quality of the 2 fridges from Defy. Both of them have seals which don't seal at all. There are gaps in the corners of both fridge freezers. The fridge might work but will be very expensive on electricity because the motor will run almost continuously. I did not buy a brand new fridge to have leaking seals. This is the first thing you expect to be in good order when you buy a new appliance. I assume this was a manufacturing fault and probably comes down to a lack of quality control. Hersch's contacted Defy apparently and forwarded on pictures I took of the problem and Hersch's tells me they say that is quite normal! I cannot believe this can be true! I understand they will come look at it, but they are already saying it is normal. I will never buy Defy again and will probably send them back.
