Defy Fridge 10°C on the coldest setting at the hottest time of the year!!

Defy fridge/freezer model C455 bought and delivered March 2025. Quick summary, 1st callout 22 May 25, 2nd 11 November 25, 3rd 13 November 25, 4 & 5th 15 December 25. Multiple calls later on 2 February 2026 the service guy calls to say Defy will replace the unit, he's done all he can do. More calls later and still waiting for Port Elizabeth to contact me, they are so busy with returns, there is a backlog - now what does that tell you!! I really thought I'd bought a quality brand but I was mistaken.

Good day Jacky,

As per feedback received , the unit is coming from Durban, the team will be in contact as soon as they receive confirmation.

That still doesn't answer my question, I was also told the unit was coming from Port Elizabeth, not Durban. This has been going on for months and I am throwing away food on a daily basis as I have no confidence in this fridge.
