Defy Freestanding combination stove

If there was a zero star option that would be my choice. From day 1 our Defy free-standing combination stove gave problems. When the temperature was set at 180 an oven thermometer could read 130 to 220. Under warranty the thermostat was replaced 3 times only for the problem to reappear in a month. They told me the thermostat must have been hit by lightning?! Now in load shedding when the power returns the clocks flashes 8 and beeps continuously. It takes us about 10 minutes of pressing random buttons to stop it. No one at Defy knows why or how to fix it. Logged a call on 07/01/2021 and still waiting to be contacted by a technician. The problem being - the beeping is irritating but worse, the oven doesn’t work until you can stop it!! I will NEVER buy any Defy appliances again and would advise people to steer clear of Defy.
