Defy Disappointment: Once Trusted, Now Trouble
I purchased several Defy appliances after returning from overseas, trusting the brand I had known for years. Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware that Defy had been acquired by a Turkish company and that the quality had significantly declined.
Within just over two years—shortly after the warranty expired—both fridges, the washing machine, and the tumble dryer failed. The washing machine alone took over six weeks to repair, and the cost was substantial.
My experience has been deeply disappointing. Defy is no longer the reliable brand it once was. I strongly advise others to avoid it—today, it simply isn’t worth the money.
