Defy CPT, faulty washing machine, shocking service, stay away from DEFY!

I bought a Defy Washing machine 14kg top loader on 17 October 2021, after one week it had to be exchanged as it stopped working. Then in a year it was exchanged another four times because of various faults that made it unable to wash the clothes.

The last replacement was a year ago and now the machine is once again broken and cannot do any of the cycles. Tafelberg Furniture says that the warranty has expired because I purchased the first washing machine two years ago and even though my current washing machine was exchanged a year ago they cannot help me. Christopher (Chris) from Defy Cape Town said that nothing can be done to replace this washing machine. If I could their service and product a ZERO rating I would.

Absolutely shocking and this Defy washing machine must have a factory fault as having the washing machine replaced four times in two years is ridiculous. I will never buy anything from Defy and am highly disgusted in their after-service.

Can you believe that I have just received a call from Defy, and was told that the washing machine is only for domestic use on which I rep**** that I have a small family and do a small wash cycle everyday. The reply was that I cannot use the washing machine everyday to do a load of washing as then the machine burns out. What absolute *******, so from their mouth - you can only do a load of washing a few times a week otherwise the washing machine will burn out. Absolutely shocking.
