Defy compact stove poor build quality

I purchased a defy compact stove 10 years ago and now purchased a second one for my parents and very disappointed at how the build quality has dropped.. all the panels are lose and when tighten the *****s you immediately realise they are all stripped .. even the back panel by top plated wobble whereas my older stove is stiff here, and the power connection box is so small and fragile I struggled for a long time to connect the power... The warranty may be better but the build quality has deteriated. And I spent almost 3000 on this? Very disappointed in the defy brand right now.
