Defy Ceramic stove cracked 4 Months after Purchase.

I persuaded my mother to buy a ceramic stove at Railway Furnishers since she has a credit account with them. Unfortunatley they only have Defy ceramic stoves in stock. 4 months after purchase the stove started cracking by itself. I personally went to Railway to report the issue and was told that someone also reported the same incident in December 2021. To our surprise Defy sent its people to come do inspection, but we were told that will have to pay R900 for a stove thats fairly new because they claim the crack is not covered by the warranty while they are the ones using cheap Materials. I suggest Defy must stick to what they are good at which is fridges, Microwave and normal stoves etc..because when it comes to ceramic stoves they are failing us, infact they are doing a very poor job🤨
