Defy appliances - a disgrace. Works for only 2 years

Good day Defy Appliances,

Please put me in the light. In 2016 I bought a 34 l Defy mirror finish microwave at OK furniture. I was told that it holds a two year warranty / guarantee and they told me what warranty was. Now last week as I was warming up milk for a cup of coffee, I noticed flames inside the machine and I immediately switched the plug off. I tried again, this time it was worse. I went to OK and reported it, they told me warranty was over and I understood. Now what I don't understand is that you, Defy give us the two year warranty, does that mean your appliances as expensive as they are only work for two years? Is that the reason you give two year guarantee? Please I need answers. I'm noticing this with your appliances for the second time now. Some time ago I bought a metallic fridge at Ellerines, same story, worked for two years and died and I got a peace of mind when I bought Samsung side/side fridge. I'm now worried as I just purchased your Defy 13 kg washing machine for my mom. Seemingly it's gonna work for two only. This microwave was top of the range on what they displayed at OK. Very expensive but ****.! Please assist
