Defy - Absolutly Useless!!!

Defy Appliance have really lost there credibility currently. I required some oven door hinges and went online an ordered them with the option of collection from Teakwood road Durban as that was available and my dad works in that area and could collect it.

The purchase order didn't give me any way of tracking the item or any lead time for the item which i found very strange. I then decided to call the Teakwood road branch and inquire if they have the item and when it would be available, only to find out that they are currently closed and not open to the public.

I was really annoyed at this caused they took the amount of my bank account ect and now they cant supply me the item. Furthermore isn't this an essential item as people need to cook and survive, or should we buy new ovens and stoves every time a part breaks?

I have tried countless numbers from call centers to branches in Durban including the Springfield road branch who dont have stock and cant assist either as they also awaiting stock from there head office.

Now i sit with an oven that isn't working well, money out of my account and the frustration of trying to get through to these people at defy.

I must say you'll have really lost all credibility in my eyes and please dont try and use the covid situation as an excuse, its something we are all facing an not only you guys.
