DAMAGED PRODUCT & WORST CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE!
I have already posted this on Games reviews. Defy this applies to your customer care services as well!
I Ordered a Defy tumble dryer online from Game , the 3-5 day delivery time took 2 weeks as they did not pick my order up as the online status was not working. Contacted Game customer care, literally had to call them on a daily basis to find out what was going on. The delivery address was given and I was informed of the delivery date and a sms will come through with the date and time of delivery, I did not recieve this, the machine arrived a few days prior to what I was informed and left at the delivery adress given. I live on a farm an hour out of this town and clear instructions were given so I can be there on the delivery day to recieve the item. Pick up the Tumble dryer open the packaging, the front door has these black scratch marks all over them, they cant even be wiped off. The inside of the box has no black marks inside. The door for the dryer does not even close, I have to lift it up to close it. The one side of the machine and the top section does not sit flush. Its seems as if this machine has been a demo model or damaged prior and they repackaged it. I then contacted customer care via email sent photos and then called them numerous amount of times having to repeat myself to many different people. I have had “management” cc’d into emails and not one of them have even rep**** to my daily emails or calls. I eventually had 1 person who was happy to assist me with this issue. Its been going on for 2 months now. It seems as if Game is making up excusses about sending my feedback to management and headoffice and priotising this matter. Game said they contacted Defy regarding the machine as a technition needed to come out to see what they can fix. There is nothing they can fix, the machine needs to be replaced, it was recieved damaged and never been plugged in and used. It was placed back in it packaging from day one. Beginning of the week a recieved a call from another member of staff from Game customer care saying a Defy technition went to the deliver adress a week prior to see the machine. As mentioned to them on numerous occasions I do not live at the delivery address I live an hour out of town. No one contacted me of this. I then get a call from Defy saying the technician will come through and meet me yesterday, they even had the incorect repair number to come out, either Game did not update them or Defy did not pass or update their information for their technitions. They had 2 numbers to contact me on, not one person called me I am still waiting. Game and Defy your customer service is shocking. If this does not get resolved by the 1 week of the new year I will no longer be supporting your buisness and will make sure may people dont.
