Customer service

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the level of service I have received from Defy over the past two weeks. My Defy fridge, which is still under warranty, has been malfunctioning, and despite contacting the Defy Helpline on four separate occasions, I am still sitting with the exact same problem — if not worse. Every time a new technician is sent out, a new issue mysteriously appears. Parts that were perfectly functional, such as the compressor, were removed and replaced unnecessarily, only for the technicians to break the new compressor and then reinstall pieces from the old one. Another technician insisted the pipes were filled with oil and needed to be vacuumed out, while someone else later claimed the pipes were blocked. The level of inconsistency, misdiagnosis, and trial-and-error “repairs” has been shocking. To make matters worse, my communication with a staff member named Amy was incredibly unpleasant. Her attitude was dismissive and rude, which added to an already stressful and exhausting situation. At this point, I have wasted time, energy, and patience repeatedly contacting Defy, only to receive zero resolution. It is unacceptable that a brand of Defy’s reputation cannot provide competent technicians or a straightforward answer for a warranty issue that should have been resolved the first time. I am asking very clearly for Defy to urgently intervene, send a senior or master technician, or replace the fridge altogether. I should not have to beg for basic service for an appliance that is still under warranty. I expect a prompt and effective response. This level of incompetence is simply not acceptable
