BRAND NEW Defy gas stove faulty - NO HELP from Defy

bought a brand new defy gas hob from Makro. Straight out of the box and one bruner is faulty as the igniter is lose. Makro and Defy both insisit that it will need to be booked for a repair and a technician will come out within a week to review it. So i buy a brand new product and now i ak suppose to sit for 2 weeks with no stove at home because defy or makro can't be bothered to replace to send someone out immediately? Really disappointed with what is suppose to be a very reputable brand.
